Heura® toasts with avocado and ratatouille


  • 50 g Heura® Bocados Especiados
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 1/2 red pepper
  • 1/2 courgette
  • Tomato sauce
  • 2 slices of your favorite bread
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper


  1. Chop the courgette, pepper and onion into medium-sized pieces.
  2. Put a splash of olive oil in a skillet. When it’s very hot, add the chopped vegetables.
  3. Cook until tender, stirring frequently so they don't stick. After 2 to 3 minutes, when the ingredients start to brown, pour in a little tomato sauce to give it some colour. Add a bit of pepper and salt to taste. When the ratatouille mixture looks done, remove from heat and let it sit.
  4. In another skillet, heat a splash of olive oil and sauté the Heura® chunks for 5 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, toast the bread, slice the avocado and add a little raw onion.

All that’s left is assembling the dish:

  1. On one piece of toast, layer the ratatouille and sautéed Heura®.
  2. Top the other piece of toast with sliced avocado, a splash of olive oil, salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle a bit of raw onion and top with sautéed Heura®.
